Khartoum, (sudanow) - Carlo De Filippi, Ambassador and Head of the European Union Delegation to Sudan, has commended the development of health services in the Sudan as he signed an agreement to provide health services for his staff in the country, a press statement by the EU indicated.

"This agreement is an important step for the EU who wants to avoid as many medical evacuations as possible". Ambassador Carlo de Filippi said, adding that “This agreement indicates that health services in Sudan are improving and it is good to have European standard hospitals in Sudan ".

The ambassador also confirmed that the EU is hoping that more Sudanese hospitals could provide excellent medical services and provides comprehensive and efficient global service standards at affordable price.
Ms. Khansa Suleiman Fedail, Vice-President of the Hospital commented that Fedail Hospital will continue to work hard to achieve better medical services to provide treatment by modern methods through the experience of its Sudanese doctors.
