Addis Ababa, (sudanow.info)- The Sudan delegation for negotiations on the security and political domains in the Blue Nile and South Kordufan areas, arrived in Addis Ababa on Friday the 27th of July 2012, in response to an invitation by Mr. Thabo Mbeki, the chairperson of the African Union Higher Implementation Panel, within the context of the African Union Road Map and the Security Council Resolution No 2046.
The arrival has come in response to the invitation of the High Level Implementation Panel, in execution of the stipulations of the Tri-partite initiative of the African Union, the League of the Arab States, and the United Nations Security Council , but the objective of the rebels in the two areas being the use of the humanitarian assistance to fan the flames of war and bloodletting in the two areas, led to lack of any significant progress up to now in the negotiations aimed to forwards humanitarian relief to war affected population in the areas affected by the war that was spurred by the rebellion.
Then comes the statement attributed to the so-called Yasser Arman and which have been widely circulate by some news media agencies on Friday which have been germinated by falsifications and contradictions that seek to mislead the local and international public . He alleged that Sudan has been obstructing the humanitarian assistance negotiation process with the view to achieve political gains at the expense of the residents of the two local areas.
He also alleged that the mediation has not invited the two sides into taking up security and military process, with the view to obstruct reaching of peaceful solution in the two areas and that the aim was to prolong the war regardless of the (impact on ) the civilians who have been tasting all the horrors of the war that has been initiated by the rebellion in the first place and which it also seeks to prolong for achieving political gains that could equally be achieved if t he rebels take up political actions that are provided for by the constitution and the laws, currently in force in the country.
These statements attributed to Yasser Araman indicate once again his drive for the use of verbal violence, a continuation of his foolish advices to his colleagues within the rebellion that led the Blue Nile and South Kordufan states into this crisis. He never cared about the suffering of the citizens in the two states. Not only that but he used that suffering to achieve his own vested personal ambitions , ambitions which he knows his personal merits would not enable him achieve.
The government delegation which is a responsible delegation, has come to the negotiations with an open heart seeking to end the suffering of the civilians , suffering that Arman is one of the causes. This delegation is not here for the honor of calling on somebody or for soliciting the blessing of any one.
